“Hello! My name is Karri Mills, and I’m excited to be the Program Director for the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in the Woodlands. I’ve been in the preschool business for over 27 years and in administration for over 22 years. I began my career as a pre-kindergarten teacher, which is when I realized I had a passion for teaching young children, and would make it my career. I moved out of the classroom and into administration where I grew professionally and ran several successful preschool programs, while raising my son.
I was very excited to find Little Sunshine’s Playhouse as I feel that their approach to learning and quality programs will bring an unrivaled distinction in preschool and early childhood education to our area. I love to be hands on, and you will often see me visiting in the classrooms. My door is always open to my staff and LSP family, feel free to come by and chat at any time, I believe the key to a great school is communication, I would love to tell you all about Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and get to know you and your family.”
“Howdy!! My name is Tracey Tevere and I am honored to be the Assistant Director for Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in The Woodlands. I have been in the early childhood education field for more than 30 years, mainly on the school aged side of things. I received my CDA from Texas State University and attended Sam Houston State University – teaching children is my passion! One of the greatest pleasures of my life has been caring for my husband and raising my amazing son, Nick. They bring joy to my life everyday and I am truly blessed to have them both in my life.
I am very blessed to be part of the LSP Woodlands team. I feel that the learning environment and family friendly atmosphere of our school embodies the spirit of what Early Childhood education should be. I love supporting our teachers and staff, as I feel happy teachers lead to happy kiddos. If you can’t find me in the front office, peek into the classrooms – I really love to snuggle on our sweet babies when I get the chance.”
