The Dahler’s are the founders and franchisors of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, and the owners of this individual school location. It is the pursuit of “something much better” in early childhood education for their own children that guides and shapes each of the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse schools. Matt and Rochette are dedicated and proud parents of Gillian, Riley and Paxon. Each of their children has thrived with the social and educational components that Little Sunshine’s Playhouse has provided for them from birth to Kindergarten. The entire family cherishes those early years, preschool memories and first friendships.
To say The Dahler’s live, sleep and breathe Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is an understatement. The mission and culture of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is truly an extension of the family’s values and visa versa. Their passion is to continually redefine the standard of early childhood education and share their love and dedication for Little Sunshine’s Playhouse with other families and children across the country.
“Hello! My name is Amy Ayers, and I’m excited to be the Area Manager for the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in Southlake. I’ve been in the preschool business for over 20 years and in administration for over 10 years. I began my career as an Infant teacher, while going to school to earn my degree. I taught elementary school for two years, and after the birth of my son, realized that my true passion was working with young children. As the years progressed I entered into administration where I grew professionally and ran several successful preschool programs.
I am very excited to be a part of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, I whole heartedly believe in the philosophy that children learn best and develop to their fullest potential through active participation in a wide variety of activities which take place in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment. I am fortunate to be able to combine my true passion for children and business to create and enhance a wonderful early childhood experience for your child(ren) and family. I love to be hands on, and you will often see me visiting in the classrooms. My door is always open to my staff and LSP families. Please feel free to come by and chat at any time. I believe the key to a great school is communication.”
“Hello! I originally grew up in California and relocated to Rogers, Arkansas in 2006. Rogers is where I began my career with Little Sunshine’s Playhouse. I was given the opportunity to transfer to our Southlake location as the Assistant Director in Fall 2016. Transferring from the Rogers LSP location, I understand the time and dedication it takes for a preschool to succeed. I want what every parent, teacher, and child strives for, which is meeting and exceeding education goals in a safe, warm, and nurturing environment. I want to emphasize the importance of transparency and communication. Therefore, I want every parent and staff member to know that I thrive on an open door policy. I believe that it is imperative to the success of our preschool. All children, parents, and staff are welcome to meet with me in person, call, or email me.
Words cannot begin to explain the joy and excitement that I feel to be part of the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse Southlake team and I can’t wait to meet your family and show how truly magical LSP is!”
“Hi! My name is Jenny Wolfe and I am very excited to be the Assistant Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool. When I started as LSP I was welcomed as the Pre-K Teacher and when my students were promoted to kindergarten I was promoted to Head Teacher! After putting in the time and effort to learn about the management of a successful school, I was offered the position of Assistant Director and I couldn’t be happier to lead such a wonderful staff of educators! I have an Associates in Child Development and have worked with children of all ages; in 2001 I became a licensed director and have been in the childcare industry for over 25 years. I knew from the very first year this was the path for me!
On a personal note I have two wonderful children who are very successful in their careers and we are very close, it was because of them that I became a teacher in childcare to begin with. On my free time I love to read and look for new ways to inspire my team at LSP!”
We are now accepting applications from caring and dedicated teachers for both full and part time positions, preferably with an early childhood education background and/or education.
