Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool® of Broomfield opened in 2019 and was the 2nd Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in the Denver area. The school is located north of Denver, off of 1-25 and 144th Avenue, around the Orchard area in Broomfield.
Our all-inclusive, private preschool program provides educational child care to children ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten in the Broomfield, Westminster and Erie area.
In order to cater to your family’s unique child care needs, we offer a variety of schedule options, which are M-F, MWF and Tues./Thurs. Our monthly tuition rates include: formula, wipes, baby food, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and extracurricular activities.

Our Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum, Creatively Shine®, is based on the latest research and trends to prepare your children for their educational careers equipping them with cognitive, social, emotional, physical and language skills.
At Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool® we believe that a child’s work is play. We teach children age-appropriate lessons, manners and social skills all through creative and purposeful play. We believe that if children enjoy learning at a young age it will carry with them throughout their lives.
Each month we have original projects, provide each classroom with new materials that reflect the monthly theme and provide related activities to support the individual concepts of the “whole child.”

Program Director
Hello! My name is Danny, and I am so excited to be the Program Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Broomfield!
I have been in the education field since 1999 and started my career in early childhood education in 2001. I obtained my Director’s Certificate in 2007 and continued working as a kindergarten teacher until 2010. I then moved into a leadership role in late 2010 as a school director. I enjoy seeing the excitement in the eyes of the children when they arrive at school and knowing the positive impact we are making in their lives.
On a personal note, I love spending time with family and friends and enjoy gardening, camping, watching movies, shopping, traveling, and watching the Colorado Avalanche.
I look forward to building a strong relationship with all the families of LSP families. I welcome you to stop by the office anytime and welcome the partnership we have with your family.

Assistant Director
Hi! My name is Gini, and I am so excited to be the Assistant Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Broomfield. I love watching children and seeing their rapidly growing skills and knowledge. The brain grows the most during the first 6 years of life, what a gift to foster this growth and learning!
I have been working in early childhood education since 2006. I received my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Fort Lewis College in 2011 and received my Master’s in Early Childhood Education from University of Colorado Denver in 2015.
I became a mother in 2022 to my son, Alistair, but have been a dog mom to Dorothy for 12 years before then! In my free time, I enjoy yoga (both teaching and taking at classes at CorePower Yoga), reading, and horror movies.
I am so excited to meet your family!
Educational Child Care Programs
Infant Program (6 weeks – 1 year)
Our highly trained infant teachers partner with you to ensure your baby’s developmental needs are met every step along the way. Our nursery staff create predictable routines and nurturing classroom environments that foster social and emotional development in your baby.
Our toddler classrooms are designed to encourage purposeful play where our teachers guide your child through age-appropriate learning experiences that prepare them with the knowledge they need to be confident as they grow.
Early Preschool Program (2-3 years)
Your child’s preschool teacher and our classroom create a nurturing, home-like classroom environment where your toddler is treated as a capable individual, whose opinions, actions and thoughts are respected and valued.
We design our preschool classrooms with developmental milestones in mind and equip each classroom with age-appropriate, educational toys to help continue inspiring your preschoolers curiosity and desire to learn and engage with their classmates and their environment.
It is our mission to prepare your child for a successful year in the wonderful world of kindergarten. Our skilled pre-K teachers help build essential skills by carefully crafting engaging activities that balance instructed learning and purposeful play.

We started our little one with Little Sunshine’s during COVID in 2020. She was just 11 weeks and we had SO many fears as new parents, but Director and Assistant Director were so supportive and loving that it made us feel much more at ease (even though I still cried driving away for about a month – hello new mom and hormones!). Our daughter is now 1 year old and in a different classroom, and we’re still just so pleased with Little Sunshine’s. Her teachers ARE THE BEST and they write wonderful LuvNotes that make us smile when we hear how much fun she is having with her friends, what she’s exploring, and if she enjoyed her meals. Our tiny human loves her time there, she’s engaged with all kinds of fun stuff they do in class and it’s clear that she’s growing confidence in her new skills and learning so much every day. We’re so happy to be with Little Sunshine’s and look forward to years to come 🙂

I was heartbroken when I found out my son’s daycare was closing their infant room, but am so thankful that we found Little Sunshine’s Playhouse of Broomfield. We absolutely love it here! The director and assistant director are so friendly, personable, and caring! Most importantly, my son loves going every day! He is never sad and has learned so much already! The teachers are doing a great job. I’m happy to know that he has been able to build strong real with the staff! I also love the daily notes and photos that are sent about their day! I look forward to it every afternoon! As an educator myself, I have really high expectations for child care/school for my children! I would absolutely recommend LSP Broomfield.
