Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool® of Willowbrook opened in 2016 and was the first Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in the suburbs of Chicago. The school is located on the southwest corner of Rt. 83 and 63rd Street, next to the Bank of Willowbrook.
Our all-inclusive, private preschool program provides educational child care to children ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten in the surrounding Suburbs of Willowbrook, including Burr Ridge, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Darian, and Downers Grove.
In order to cater to your family’s unique child care needs, we offer a variety of schedule options, which are M-F, MWF and Tues./Thurs. Our monthly tuition rates include: formula, wipes, baby food, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and extracurricular activities.

Our Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum, Creatively Shine®, is based on the latest research and trends to prepare your children for their educational careers equipping them with cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language skills.
At Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool® we believe that a child’s work is play. We teach children age-appropriate lessons, manners, and social skills all through creative and purposeful play. We believe that if children enjoy learning at a young age it will carry with them throughout their lives.
Each month we have original projects, provide each classroom with new materials that reflect the monthly theme and provide related activities to support the individual concepts of the “whole child.”

Program Director
Hello LSP families! My name is Steph, and I am excited to serve you and your family as Program Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Willowbrook.
I have over 15 years of experience working in the early childhood education field. I started working in ECE during high school through a special program that gave me the opportunity to teach preschoolers each day. This is where I fell in love with teaching and knew I wanted to follow my passion for teaching little ones.
I started my journey at Little Sunshine’s in 2018 as a lead toddler teacher and truly enjoyed the excitement and creativity that goes along with the Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum. I was promoted to head teacher in 2019 and formed so many amazing connections with each student and their families.
On a personal note, my husband Nick and I are doggy parents to our very spoiled pittie Kale, who likes to keep life interesting! In my free time, I have been known to run a marathon or two, hit up the gym, go to concerts, check out new restaurants and spend time with family and loved ones.
As your Program Director, I look forward to getting to know your family and help create a unique experience that your family will thoroughly enjoy. I cannot wait to expand our LSP family!

Hi families! My name is Jenny, and I am the Assistant Program Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Willowbrook. I am extremely excited to watch your little ones grow in the years to come!
I had the opportunity to run my own successful home daycare for 11 wonderful years. Being able to inspire little minds has been such an important part of my life. Sadly, I closed my doors in 2018, but my passion for early education didn’t. A few months later I found myself working for a preschool where I was a twos teacher. Although I loved the children, I felt the need to excel more and that is when I found Little Sunshine’s Playhouse. The Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum was such an awesome way of teaching young minds through loose parts and their very own creativity with pure guidance from their teachers. I was very excited when I was hired as the lead teacher. I have such an awesome time watching these little people grow in their own unique way!
After long days, I love spending time with my family and enjoying life. I have been married for 22 years and we have two daughters who keep me on my toes with mid-week concerts and late-night adventures.

Infant Program (6 weeks – 1 year)
Our highly trained infant teachers partner with you to ensure your baby’s developmental needs are met every step along the way. Our nursery staff create predictable routines and nurturing classroom environments that foster social and emotional development in your baby.

This preschool has been such a profound and outstanding institution for our two children since day one. We started out as one of the first families to enroll before they completed construction on the building back in 2015, back when our oldest son was 1 1/2. We had migrated from a daycare in Willow Springs because LSP was actually down the block from our house at the time. It was a no-brainer with the spacious and clean facility, fantastic Reggio Emilia curriculum, and friendly staff.
