Our toddler classrooms provide an environment of explorations for our students. Our teachers work to foster skills like listening, learning how to treat one another, problem solving techniques and manners. They also foster skills like pushing and pulling, sorting objects by color and size and stacking objects. Sign language continues and is incorporated throughout the day. The Little Sunshine’s Playhouse curriculum reinforces these age-appropriate developments through songs, finger plays, short stories, center time and circle time.
We consistently evaluate each child based on age-appropriate benchmarks in order to assess individual growth and development. This allows us to communicate with families and set realistic goals that will set your child up for success and the pride that comes with achievement.
