The Dahler’s are the founders and franchisors of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, and the owners of this individual school location. It is the pursuit of “something much better” in early childhood education for their own children that guides and shapes each of the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse schools. Matt and Rochette are dedicated and proud parents of Gillian, Riley and Paxon. Each of their children has thrived with the social and educational components that Little Sunshine’s Playhouse has provided for them from birth to Kindergarten. The entire family cherishes those early years, preschool memories and first friendships.

“Hello and welcome to Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, my name is Kelley Carr and I am the Program Director. I have been a part of the company family since April 2010. I first began my career as the Preschool Teacher where I stayed until being promoted to Assistant Director. In 2013, I was given the opportunity to become the Program Director. I am currently working towards earning my Degree in Early Childhood and am so excited about my position and love being able to interact with all the children and families in all the classrooms.
Aside from Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I’m also very involved in my church where my small group “Live, love, laugh” have become a very vital part of my life. I look forward to meeting you and your family and providing a quality preschool experience for your child.”
Hello and welcome to Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool, Springfield II!
I started my career in child care at 18 years old working through and early child care program at my high school. From there I have worked in quite a few facilities. I began my adventure with Little Sunshine’s in September of 2015 at our Cardinal location as the Early Preschool Teacher. There I got a reputation for fun art and science projects, where the kids got to get their little hands messy! I love watching kiddos explore the world with their senses and the light in their eyes as they learn something new!! I was offered the opportunity to become the Assistant Director of this location in April 2016. I look forward to meeting your family and helping your child learn and grow!
On a personal note: I love playing with my three children and my husband. I am very involved with the youth at my church. I teach the teen Sunday school class and work with the elementary age kids on Thursday nights. I also sing with my 13 year old daughter on our praise team.
