“Hello! Welcome to Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool Chestnut location!
My name is Michelle Ursino and it’s an honor to be apart of the LSP family once again as your Director.
My heart has always been in the early childhood years and I am eager to watch each of your children grow as they learn and develop through their social experiences at LSP. These are the years that are truly some of the most important years in a child’s life. I have a HUGE passion for childcare, meeting the needs of the parents as well as the staff.
I started at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool back in 2007 and I got the opportunity to set up each classroom with all the equipment and make the entire preschool ready for opening day as well as supervise the day-to-day operations of the facility. In 2009, I decided to become a stay-at-home mommy when my third child was born and later on I welcomed number four.
The past 7 years I have been an Admission Assistant and Nurse Assistant at Mercy Rehab Hospital and I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experiences in providing incomparable patient care over the years.
In 2016, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Drury University, am married to an amazing firefighter and have four beautiful children. I love spending time with my family every second I get free. We all enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, riding our bikes down bike trails around Springfield, kayaking and motorcycle adventures together.”
“Hello everyone! My name is Molly Gray and I have been with Little Sunshine’s Playhouse since June 2007. I began my career here working as an Assistant Teacher in the Firefly (toddler) classroom. Since then I have had the opportunity to work with several of the different age groups and was in the Gummy Bear (infant) classroom for over three and a half years.
In October 2014, I was given the opportunity to become the Assistant Director and gladly accepted! I absolutely love working with children and their families ad having the ability to see them grow and learn every day. My work is my passion. I am also working toward my degree in Early Childhood Development.
On a more personal note, I was born in Springfield, MO and raised in Republic, MO. I love to spend time with family and friends. I enjoy reading books and watching movies also.”
