Our 2018 November LSP National Teacher of the Month is Ms. Morgan Rogers from our San Antonio Dominion, TX location! Ms. Morgan is a teacher in Neverland, the Pre-Kindergarten classroom.

When asked what she enjoys most about working for LSP, Morgan responded, “I love working with the team I have as a staff, they really feel like family. There isn’t one teacher that hasn’t been willing to give a helping hand and I really appreciate them all for that”. Ms. Morgan loves the kids in her class and enjoys seeing their ability to apply knowledge when working on projects and seeing them do it with their own style and flare.

Ms. Morgan’s favorite curriculum project this year has been making ornaments for her classroom’s Christmas tree. Her kiddos made gingerbread men with their faces on them and decorated them all over. She had a blast getting to know her students through their pictures and learning more about their families!

When asked what inspired her the most, Ms. Morgan replied, “Legacy. Each child is a future legacy and each and everyone will mold our future for the better if we steer them in the right direction. There is only so much we can do, but we can still do something and we still have an effect”.

Here’s what Taylor, Ms. Morgan’s supervisor had to say about her: “Mo is an incredibly loyal and talented teacher. She comes in early and works on projects for the classroom to help out. This just goes to show how big of an impact she is making on our families. She is super flexible and helpful with her co-workers and adored by the students and families. She is fantastic on tours, greeting every family and connecting with them so well. She does implement Reggio! She is also super crafty and helps us with projects for weekend family events. We’re so blessed to have her!”

Outside of working at LSP, Morgan loves to travel, play golf, scrap book, volunteer, and spend time with the people she cares most about!

We are so proud to recognize Ms. Morgan as our November National Teacher of the Month!
