The Dahler’s are the founders and franchisors of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, and the owners of this individual school location. It is the pursuit of “something much better” in early childhood education for their own children that guides and shapes each of the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse schools. Matt and Rochette are dedicated and proud parents of Gillian, Riley and Paxon. Each of their children has thrived with the social and educational components that Little Sunshine’s Playhouse has provided for them from birth to Kindergarten. The entire family cherishes those early years, preschool memories and first friendships.

“Hello, my name is Shelly Gardner and I am so happy to be the Program Director at our Cardinal location. I am thrilled to serve our kiddos with the best quality in educational childcare. Building strong, positive relationships with our students, their families and our staff is my top priority as the leader of our school. I am delighted to spend my days supporting our teachers, as they help our students develop their self-esteem and the skills needed to be successful in school and later in life. We strive to build upon each of our students’ strengths to maximize their potential, and will work hard in the areas that may need additional support to ensure their success.
A little about myself, I have been married to my wonderful husband for over 20 years, and we have a teenage son together. I am very passionate about early childhood education and have been in the field with Little Sunshine’s Playhouse for over 12 years, starting as assistant teacher, eventually working my way up to Program Director. I currently hold my B.S.in Early Childhood and Family Development and am working toward my M.S. degree.
I look forward to the opportunity of becoming a part of your child’s life and a part of your family.”
“Hello, and welcome to Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool.
My name is Chelsea Haworth, and I am thrilled to be the Assistant Director at our Springfield III location. I have worked in the childcare industry since December 2010, and I have been a part of Little Sunshine’s family since September 2015. I started as the infant teacher, and about 9 months later I was promoted to the head teacher. Shortly after, I was given the opportunity to take on the role of assistant director. I am currently working towards earning my Degree in Early Childhood. I absolutely love my position, and I love being able to build lifelong relationships with all of our students and families. My passion is helping children learn and grow.
I look forward to meeting you and providing your child with our exceptional care.”
Aside from Little Sunshine’s, my husband and I have been married since October 2016. We welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world in December 2016, she is the light of our world! In our spare time we love to spend time with family, be outdoors, and watch movies.
