July 2015 Company-Wide Teacher of the Month

Way to go ladies! Thank you for all you do for Little Sunshine’s Playhouse! And now, our July 2015 Company-Wide Teacher of the Month is Miss Alley Sarge from Springfield I!

Program Director, Melissa Corporon, had the following to say about Alley, “Miss Alley has been with us since December 2014 and started out in our three-year-old room. You can see her passion for children in her daily work and because of that, Alley just recently took over in our Honeybee classroom! She has done phenomenal things and the parents are so excited to have her teaching their children. We are very grateful to have her on our team!”

Alley found her love for teaching at an early age. While in high school, Alley was able to take ECD classes and intern at a local preschool. It was there that she fell in love with educating and spending time with young children, and knew it was what she wanted to do as her career!

Alley’s favorite part of her job and working at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is all of the kiddos she gets to interact with and spend her days with! She also enjoys the other women she gets to share her passion of education with!

Alley works in the Honeybee Classroom with two and three-year-olds. Her favorite part about that classroom and the students is the simplicity of what they enjoy. They are happy with the little things and love to learn!

Though there were many curriculum activities to choose from, Alley’s favorite was teaching her kiddos all about New York during the Journey across America theme in July! She loves the city and it’s one of her most favorite places, so sharing that with the students was very special.

Outside of work Alley enjoys traveling and experiencing new things. She spends her free time with her puppy, Ava and they do absolutely everything together!
