Getting the kids ready for school in the morning is enough of a task. Picking out clothes, getting them dressed, making sure their teeth are brushed, then wrangling them into the car to take them to preschool for the day.

Not only that, you’re responsible for getting them into the classroom without a tantrum or crying spell. And if there’s rain? Good luck not getting drenched! By the end, you’re exhausted before your workday has even begun.

This doesn’t have to be the case. With our Red Carpet Service™ at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool®, you can make preschool drop-off a breeze and limit some of the separation anxiety that comes along with it. Plus, almost all of our preschools have a carport for those rainy days!

What is Red Carpet Service™?

Our preschool drop-off is quick and efficient thanks to our process. When you arrive at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, we help you get your child out of the car and then take them to class for you. We make drop-offs quick, easy and fun for your child by letting them say goodbye to you and greeting them with a familiar face as soon as they get to the preschool. Our red carpet service only runs from 7:30 – 8:30 (during the high drop-off time.)

Not only does this help with separation anxiety, but it also helps speed up the drop-off for other parents in line. Naturally, when children have to leave their parents there will almost always be some sadness, and that’s okay! The Red Carpet Service™ works to combat some of the main causes of separation anxiety.

First, it helps to establish a routine, so children can find a pattern to get used to and not feel as in flux. Knowing that their dropoff process will be the same every morning can help your child to understand they should be excited to start school for the day!

Your child will also have our caring staff there for them to help walk them to class. Being walked to class can help prevent any feelings of abandonment that may occur and will get them to class happier and more ready for the day.
