We know that if children enjoy learning at a young age it will carry with them throughout their lives!
The Dahler’s are the founders and franchisors of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, and the owners of this individual school location. It is the pursuit of “something much better” in early childhood education for their own children that guides and shapes each of the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse schools. Matt and Rochette are dedicated and proud parents of Gillian, Riley and Paxon. Each of their children has thrived with the social and educational components that Little Sunshine’s Playhouse has provided for them from birth to Kindergarten. The entire family cherishes those early years, preschool memories and first friendships.
To say The Dahler’s live, sleep and breathe Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is an understatement. The mission and culture of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is truly an extension of the family’s values and visa versa. Their passion is to continually redefine the standard of early childhood education and share their love and dedication for Little Sunshine’s Playhouse with other families and children across the country.
Hello families! My name is Jenn Morgan and I am the Program Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool. I have received my Child Development Associates and have taken several classes in Early Childhood Education. I have been working in Early Childhood Education since 2004, and have been absolutely honored to serve all of the children and families of Little Sunshine’s since July of 2011. I found my love for Early Childhood Education at a young age and have developed a deep passion for helping children reach their maximum potential before heading off to Kindergarten. My favorite thing about working in this field is the opportunity that it gives me to get to know each child as the individual that they are and to build bonds with each and every one of them that lasts a lifetime. The importance of Early Childhood Education and socialization to the development of a young mind is what drives my work every day. I am excited to have the opportunity to meet your family and to look into having you join our Little Sunshine’s family!
Hello Families! My name is Aimee Darnell, Assistant Director at the Scottsdale Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool! It is my great pleasure to welcome new families into our school and show them what sets us apart from the rest! I began my journey with Little Sunshine’s in October of 2011 and have worked in the early child care industry for over 9 years. I started at Little Sunshine’s as the Lead Teacher in the Infant Classroom and then went on to become the Lead Teacher in the Toddler Classroom. In this role, I went on to receive the 2014 Company -Wide Teacher of the Year Award. Following this prestigious honor, I was promoted to my current Assistant Director Position. I’m so fortunate to be given the opportunity to build relationships with our families and watch our teachers help students reach new developmental milestones. It was truly an amazing experience being a teacher at Little Sunshine’s and I now have the extreme privilege to guide new teachers and bring students into our Little Sunshine’s family.
