Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is recognized within the industry for a concept based on higher standards of service, community visibility, and security.  We offer an identity of unrivaled distinction… in our brand image and high-profile architectural presence, and in the level of support and training our franchise system provides the School Operators.

Our secured Kiddie Cams™ allow families to monitor their children via any computer in the world with Internet access. This feature is valuable to grandparents who live far away! The cameras are set up in every classroom and on the playground. They show full color and are secured by user name and password, to restrict access.  Kiddie Cams™ also allow you efficient over-site of school operations.

Our LuvNotes™ system is user-friendly, secured platform that allows us to stay in better communication with parents throughout the day. When parents log into the LuvNotes™  system, they will see a classroom snapshot (which will include a list of planned activities for the day, menu details, announcements, etc.) personalized daily reports (with notes on specific activities, disposition/mood, sleeping and eating habits during the day, etc.) and photos and videos of their child(ren). Parents can access this secure information via web interface or any smartphone with internet access.

Our master planned and accredited curriculum, Creatively Shine™, is based off the newest research and trends to prepare young children to enter their educational career equipped with cognitive, social, emotional, physical and language skills. At Little Sunshine’s Playhouse we believe that a child’s work is PLAY! We teach children lessons, manners, and social skills all through creative and preplanned play. We know that if children enjoy learning at a young age it will carry with them throughout their lives!

Dahler Family

Dahler familyThe Dahler’s are the founders and franchisors of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, and the owners of this individual school location. It is the pursuit of “something much better” in early childhood education for their own children that guides and shapes each of the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse schools.  Matt and Rochette are dedicated and proud parents of Gillian, Riley and Paxon. Each of their children has thrived with the social and educational components that Little Sunshine’s Playhouse has provided for them from birth to Kindergarten. The entire family cherishes those early years, preschool memories and first friendships.

To say The Dahler’s live, sleep and breathe Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is an understatement. The mission and culture of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is truly an extension of the family’s values and visa versa. Their passion is to continually redefine the standard of early childhood education and share their love and dedication for Little Sunshine’s Playhouse with other families and children across the country.

Rebecca Bergman, Regional Manager

BeckyHello! My name is Rebecca Bergman and I have been with Little Sunshine’s Playhouse since August of 2010.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (emphasis in Special Education) from Northern Arizona University.  As an educator for over twenty years, I have worked my way up from lower level teaching positions to lead teaching and now into senior management.

I begin my career with Little Sunshine’s as a Lead Pre-Kindergarten teacher in Scottsdale, Arizona and within a year, I was promoted to the Program Director.  In the spring of 2013, I relocated with my family to Leawood, Kansas to become the Program Director at that school.  I then became an Operations Executive in 2015 and manage over several schools, providing operational support and hands-on mentoring.

My Passion and experience as an educator, as well as my love for this company, has helped me to mentor others and advance my educational leadership career.

Emy Cervantes, Assistant Director

EmyI would like to take a moment of your time to introduce myself. My name is Emy Cervantes and I recently transferred to the Southlake, Texas area to become your new Assistant Director. I originally grew up in California and relocated to Rogers, Arkansas in 2006. Rogers is where I began my career with Little Sunshine’s Playhouse. Transferring from the Rogers, AR Little Sunshine’s Playhouse location, I understand the time and dedication it takes for a preschool to succeed. I want what every parent, teacher, and child strives for, which is meeting and exceeding education goals in a safe, warm, and nurturing environment. You will find that I am a team player. I am excited for all of us to work together and bridge any gaps that may exist so we can move forward as a team in education and care, in order for our children to have, not only, a fun and educational experience, but one they’ll surely treasure and remember for the rest of their lives. I want to emphasize the importance of transparency and communication. Therefore, I want every parent and staff member to know that I thrive on an open door policy. I believe that it is imperative to the success of our preschool. All children, parents, and staff are welcome to meet with me in person, call, or email me. Words cannot begin to explain the joy and excitement that I feel to be part of the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse Southlake team!
