Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is recognized within the industry for a concept based on higher standards of service, community visibility, and security. We offer an identity of unrivaled distinction… in our brand image and high-profile architectural presence, and in the level of support and training our franchise system provides the School Operators.
Our secured Kiddie Cams™ allow families to monitor their children via any computer in the world with Internet access. This feature is valuable to grandparents who live far away! The cameras are set up in every classroom and on the playground. They show full color and are secured by user name and password, to restrict access. Kiddie Cams™ also allow you efficient over-site of school operations.
Our LuvNotes™ system is user-friendly, secured platform that allows us to stay in better communication with parents throughout the day. When parents log into the LuvNotes™ system, they will see a classroom snapshot (which will include a list of planned activities for the day, menu details, announcements, etc.) personalized daily reports (with notes on specific activities, disposition/mood, sleeping and eating habits during the day, etc.) and photos and videos of their child(ren). Parents can access this secure information via web interface or any smartphone with internet access.
Our master planned and accredited curriculum, Creatively Shine™, is based off the newest research and trends to prepare young children to enter their educational career equipped with cognitive, social, emotional, physical and language skills. At Little Sunshine’s Playhouse we believe that a child’s work is PLAY! We teach children lessons, manners, and social skills all through creative and preplanned play. We know that if children enjoy learning at a young age it will carry with them throughout their lives!
The Dahler’s are the founders and franchisors of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, and the owners of this individual school location. It is the pursuit of “something much better” in early childhood education for their own children that guides and shapes each of the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse schools. Matt and Rochette are dedicated and proud parents of Gillian, Riley and Paxon. Each of their children has thrived with the social and educational components that Little Sunshine’s Playhouse has provided for them from birth to Kindergarten. The entire family cherishes those early years, preschool memories and first friendships.
To say The Dahler’s live, sleep and breathe Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is an understatement. The mission and culture of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is truly an extension of the family’s values and visa versa. Their passion is to continually redefine the standard of early childhood education and share their love and dedication for Little Sunshine’s Playhouse with other families and children across the country.
“Greetings families! My name is Jenn Morgan and I am the Program Director here at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse! I have been working in the childcare field for over nine years and have worked with every age from infant to school-age! I love everything about working with children! I love the hugs and their smiles that always brighten my day. Also, it is an amazing experience to be able to watch a child grow and reach their milestones in development. I currently have my Child Development Associates and have taken several classes in Early Education. I started working at Little Sunshine’s in 2011 in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom, where I was for a year and half before being promoted to the Assistant Director position. I loved my time as the Assistant Director and learned tremendously through our school leaders. When the chance arose for a promotion, I was thrilled at the opportunity to expand my career and continue working with all of the wonderful families here at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse as the School Director!
When I am not working, I love spending quiet nights at home watching movies or curled up with a good book! I also love to spend time with my family and friends. Whether we’re watching movies, playing games or just chatting, as long as I’m with people I love, I’m having a good time!”
Bonjour Familles! My name is Aimee Darnell and I am the Assistant Direct and French Instructor here at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse! I have been working in childcare for over six years and have loved every minute of it. From the good morning hugs, to the accomplishment of a lesson learned, there are endless reasons to smile in the field of Early Childhood Education. I started at Little Sunshine’s as the Lead Teacher in the Infant room and then transitioned to the position of Lead Teacher in the Toddler Room. It was in the Toddler Room that my true passion for teaching and childcare was realized and I went on to receive the Company-Wide Teacher of the Year Award. It has truly been an amazing experience being a teacher her at Little Sunshine’s and I now have the extreme privilege to help other teachers learn and grow to realize their full potential, too. It has been a truly extraordinary to meet so many amazing families here at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and to embrace them into our home away from home. I am excited for this new journey as Program Assistant Director!
In my free time I enjoy reading, painting, and spending time with my family. Another great passion of mine is crafting; from making props for the school play to a photo booth for our next big event!
