"Welcome to Little Sunshine's Playhouse and Preschool! My name is Lisa Carey and I am the Program Director. I began working at LSP as the Assistant director in April 2010 and was promoted to Program Director in July 2010. I have worked in childcare for eleven years and I have over four years of management experience. I started out as an Assistant Teacher in a three year old classroom and over the years have worked with all ages. I received my CDA in September 2009 and I am in the process of completing my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I love working with children and their families, as well as building relationships with the teachers.

Aside from work, I married my best friend, Shane, in April 2010. We recently had our first child, Dylan, in July 2011. It is amazing how one person can change your life forever!

Jessica Suggs, Asst. Director

"Hello! My name is Jessica Suggs and I am the Assistant Director. I started working at LSP in April of 2010 as an Assistant Teacher and became the cook. The recently, in September 2011, I was promoted to Assistant Director. I have worked with children for ten years. I have found that in teaching children the learning process is not only for the children, but for the teachers as well; everyday is a new adventure. After all, kids do say the darndest things.

On a more personal note, I have a very large family and have always been surrounded by children. I think music can heal the soul and there's nothing my mother can't fix. I love a good book, chocolates and movies. I also enjoy being around people and look forward to building a relationship with you and your family."
